About Us:
We’re a small boutique email marketing agency located in Seatle, WA and we’re looking to grow! Our client base is mostly in e-commerce in various industries. As we continue to expand, we are looking for a skilled Email & SMS Account Manager to join our team. We plan to start this person out as part-time with 1 client at a time and then likely increase to a full-time role if a mutual team fit is established. We’re not looking to train this person in the email marketing space, you should already have the experience with growing accounts and client management.
Role Overview:
Must be US-based, and a 1099 contractor. We are seeking a dedicated Email & SMS Account Manager who is proficient in Klaviyo and has a proven track record of managing successful email marketing campaigns. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the email marketing strategies of our clients, conducting bi-weekly calls to discuss campaign progress and strategies, leading our email designer, and creating copy (we don’t have a copywriter on team at the moment). Hours are flexible except for scheduled client calls.
Key Responsibilities:
1.) Develop and implement email & SMS marketing strategies using various ESP like Klaviyo, and Mailchimp to meet client goals.
2.) Manage calls with clients to review campaign performance, gather feedback, and adjust strategies as needed.
3.) Lead our email designer, ensuring high-quality work and adherence to deadlines. Depending on the scope of individual projects, you might have to write the copy yourself.
4.) Analyze campaign performance and provide clients with detailed monthly reports and actionable insights.
5.) Various work on eCommerce platforms (Shopify, WooCommerce) including editing sites, setting up third-party apps, installing scripts, etc. relating to email marketing.
6.) Stay updated with the latest email marketing trends and best practices to ensure innovative and effective campaigns.
7.) Respond to clients/teammates in a timely manner, especially for urgent matters.
Requirements:
1.) At least 2 years of experience in email marketing, with a strong understanding of Klaviyo, Mailchimp and Shopify. Hubspot would be a bonus!
2.) Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
3.) Experience managing and leading a team.
4.) Strong analytical skills and experience with performance metrics and KPIs.
5.) Ability to work independently and manage multiple client accounts simultaneously.
6.) North America time zones only.
7.) Strong, fluent English skills needed (native speakers preferred).
