Position Title
Coordinator – Marketing & Communications (2 positions)

Job Responsibilities
We are seeking a dynamic and creative candidate to support our marketing, branding, and communication efforts. This role is responsible for helping with content creation, campaign execution, project management, and ensuring our brand message reaches the right audience effectively. Reporting directly to the Associate Director of Marketing, this position will assist with drip campaigns, communication, and print pieces for all prospective students, their family members, and the community at large. This position will support prospective undergraduate, transfer, international and graduate student populations.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Communication and Marketing
Manage day-to-day use of communication with the CRM system.
Lead project manager tasked with creating and maintaining communication calendar for office of admission between print, digital, email, text, ad-hoc, recurring, and campaign communications.
Lead digital communicator and collaborator on print publications for recruitment, including copywriting and copyediting.
Collaborate with faculty, Publications, Public Relations, Marketing, Mail Services, and Printing services to ensure appropriate information is presented and submitted in a timely manner.
Train and supervise admission staff on mailings and communication processes.
Ensure all mail pieces are included in our comprehensive communication plan.
Oversee records of marketing items in Admission office, provide monthly updates, process material requests and reorder of inventory as necessary.
Coordinate direct mail and other publications, including working with business office on bid process for the printing and mailing of publications with approval from Director of Admission.
Work with Assistant Director of Technology and Associate Director of Marketing to ensure all form-letter-type correspondence is updated with most current costs, deadlines, publicity references, brand guidelines, etc.
Maintain documentation of mailing and processing procedures for future reference.

Special Projects and Other Duties
Support the University’s strategic goals and objectives.
Actively provide and participate in departmental and university trainings.
Provide support in answering office phones, responding to questions, and following up requests.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree.
Significant evidence of transferable technical skills.
Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
Strong commitment to customer service.
Ability to work in a collaborative environment as demonstrated by previous project management and/or group work.
Record of success independently completing assigned projects with limited direct supervision.
Ability to take direction from office leadership.
Ability to travel and assume a work schedule that can include evenings and weekends.
Ability to lift/carry items ranging up to 40 pounds in weight.
Valid driver’s license.

Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of and/or experience working with emerging print technologies, admission recruitment communication systems, and/or database management software.

Salary
The salary for this position ranges from $36,400-40,000 annually commensurate with qualifications and experience.
