WildKat is a creative agency for culture and music. We offer PR, marketing, branding, social media, and event management for institutions and artists. As the only performing arts agency working internationally, we operate in London, Paris, Hamburg, Berlin, and New York.
We are looking for a part-time PR & Digital Assistant to join our New York team with the potential for full-time expansion. This role is ideal for a student seeking an internship or an early-career professional eager to gain hands-on experience in PR and digital marketing.
The PR & Digital Assistant will support the Senior PR Manager in New York, as well as Digital Associate (New York) and the Head of Digital (Global), collaborating with colleagues worldwide. You will assist in developing and executing creative PR and digital campaigns within the classical and performing arts industries.
Key Responsibilities:
To support the New York team with PR, marketing and social media campaigns
Assisting our Digital Associate (New York) and Head of Digital (based in the UK) with creating campaigns on Facebook, Google and other platforms
Creation of assets using relevant software, such as AfterEffects and InDesign
Using scheduling tools for social media, such as Hootsuite or Buffer
Devising campaigns strategies, learning industry-specific tools to set up campaigns
Support with Google and Facebook ad campaigns
Support content development for social media, including branded photos, videos, GIFs, and more
Support with ad-hoc Marketing projects on request
Writing social media posts for us and our clients
To assist the PR Managers in securing opportunities for clients and helping them to achieve their PR goals. This includes a dedication to researching publications, journalists and producers for story telling opportunities and coverage.
Compile and manage media lists
Assisting with the organization of client events, and attending concerts
Write press releases and client content as needed
Assisting with client reports and feedback

Requirements:
Interest in social media and digital marketing, with a desire to learn
Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently
Familiarity with Microsoft Office
Experience with WordPress and Adobe CS (preferred but not essential)
Passion for music, the arts, and culture

The hourly rate offered will be $20 to $25 per hour, dependent on experience. The role will be hybrid, with 2-3 days in our flexible working space and opportunities to work from home. You will be expected to work approximately 20 hours per week with some fluctuation depending on periods of higher or lower need.
