About the International Association of BBBs, Inc. (IABBB)
The International Association of BBBs, Inc. (IABBB) (BBB.org) serves the 91 local Better Business Bureaus and their 160+ offices across the United States and Canada. IABBB oversees core programs such as BBB Accreditation, the BBB Code of Advertising, BBB.org—the flagship website with nearly 5.4 million Business Profiles, investigations, and consumer education.

The Better Business Bureaus (BBB) is a non-profit with a mission to be the leader in advancing marketplace trust. BBB’s vision is an ethical marketplace where buyers and sellers can trust each other.
The IABBB seeks a Creative and Digital Media Designer to join our Marketing Communications Team. This position will be responsible for creating and producing digital designs that look great, are on brand, communicate ideas, and generate engagement, or a call to action.
As a member of the International Association of Better Business Bureaus (IABBB) Team, you’ll create and maintain a dynamic and consistent visual identity following brand guidelines for tone, color, typography, photography and illustration. Up-to-date knowledge of industry software is a must to produce, schedule, and deploy engaging content across numerous channels.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Creative Initiatives
Create templates, static graphics, branded imagery, posts, and short videos for the website, social media, research reports, presentations, email, and print
Update and enhance existing designs, templates, and documents
Oversee all creative aspects of the IABBB’s content creation efforts
Use Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) and publish work via AEM, other relevant CMS systems, and social media channels
Create charts and infographics for story maps
Create high-quality content for our brand, digital platforms, reports and marketing material
Brand, Asset and Enhancement Management
Maintain a library of assets from which the organization can draw for presentations, webinars, and other marketing, communications, and instructional needs
Serve as a sounding board for the local BBBs to vet, and when appropriate, adopt ideas to support BBB Accreditation and retention efforts and campaigns
Review and approve third-party/external partner creative projects for brand consistency.
Maintain and administrate a digital library of assets to aid in AB acquisition and retention.
Collaboration and Campaign Execution:
Collaborate across IABBB departments on campaign launches to execute high-quality production and creative, ensuring integration and cohesiveness, even when work is done by third-party vendors.
Support internal design initiatives across IABBB departments and manage a queue of design requests, delivering quality work on time.
Social Media and PR Support:
Have input into all aspects of social media strategy to increase success metrics and maintain brand consistency across various platforms.
Assist in managing the IABBB social media calendar and provide support and assets as needed.
Support PR efforts for IABBB and assist in supporting member BBB offices with media requests.
Our ideal candidate must:

Collaborate on writing headlines, posts, and CTA that drive engagement
Create assets across all channels: web, display, social, and other digital touchpoints
Multi-task, juggle deadlines, manage time, and clearly communicate assignment progress
Possess a portfolio demonstrating the ability to create effective campaigns through multiple channels: print, digital, video and social media, for both brand awareness as well as direct marketing needs
Education and Experience Requirements:
Social media marketing: 1 year (Preferred)
Graphic design: 5+ years or more of relative experience in visual design
Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, Digital Marketing/Media or related work experience
Working knowledge of digital standards, best practices, and graphic specifications for web and social media platforms including LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube
Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud – especially Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign, plus Premier, Spark, or other video software, as well as Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
Experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) and Adobe Analytics are a plus
Strong relationship management skills to work with internal teams and creative staff to ensure high-quality work in a remote-team setting
Willingness to learn on the fly, stay current on latest digital media trends, and experiment with new design and animation techniques
Time and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple, shifting priorities under tight deadlines in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
