We are always looking for the best and brightest to join our creative marketing team. Umbra’s Creative Marketing team is currently looking for a Graphic Design Intern who will report directly to the Creative Marketing Manager. You will be working alongside a Senior Graphic Designer, Social Media Specialist and CGI artists on individual and combined initiatives for 8 months starting in April/ May 2025. This in-person role will collaborate directly with the team at Umbra’s Support Centre in Scarborough Ontario. Join our passionate team and help create something you can be proud of!

What You’ll Do To Be Successful In This Role…
Design and assist with creation of creative marketing content
Support marketing with research, layout, & design work as requested
Organize and maintain graphics library in-line with department conventions
Participate in the maintenance and evolution of department projects
Clearly communicate ideas visually and verbally
Requirements
What you’ll bring…
Currently enrolled in a post-secondary degree or diploma in graphic design, image arts, communication design, or the equivalent or a recent graduate
2 years’ experience in graphic and or digital design is preferred
Creative portfolio showcasing design thinking that integrates imagery and typography
Demonstrated skill with design and layout software in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite,
specifically InDesign, Photoshop, and Adobe Illustrator
An understanding of graphic production methods for print and digital applications
Experience using social media platforms and an appreciation for creative trends
Works independently and collaboratively to meet deadlines
Excellent organization skills with a well-developed communication and interpersonal skills
Strong work ethic with proven ability to adapt to changing priorities with a positive attitude
