Position Overview
We are seeking a Social Media Coordinator to manage and grow BloomHR’s digital presence across multiple platforms. The ideal candidate is a creative and strategic thinker with a strong understanding of social media trends, engagement strategies, and brand storytelling. This role is responsible for content creation, scheduling, community engagement, and analytics tracking to enhance our brand visibility and audience engagement.
Responsibilities
Develop and execute a strategic social media content calendar for Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, TikTok, and YouTube.
Create engaging and high-quality content, including graphics, short-form videos, and captions that align with BloomHR’s brand voice.
Manage daily social media posting, including scheduling content using social media management tools.
Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and engagement to foster community growth.
Research and implement trending topics, hashtags, and social media best practices to increase reach and visibility.
Collaborate with the marketing team to align social media efforts with company campaigns and promotions.
Track and analyze key social media metrics, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
Stay updated on social media algorithm changes, new platform features, and emerging trends.
Design and create logos, promotional materials, and cover art for an upcoming podcast series to be promoted across all social media platforms.
Qualifications
2+ years of experience managing social media accounts for a brand, business, or agency.
Strong knowledge of Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, TikTok, and YouTube.
Experience using social media management tools (e.g., Later, Buffer, Hootsuite, or Sprout Social).
Proficiency in Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar design tools.
Excellent writing skills with the ability to craft engaging, on-brand captions.
Video editing skills for short-form content creation (Reels, TikToks, YouTube Shorts) preferred.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities.
Experience with paid social media advertising is a plus.
Compensation
This is a part-time, contract position (1099), up to 5 hours weekly.
Compensation is based on experience and workload expectations.
Job Types: Part-time, Contract
Pay: $22.00 – $25.00 per hour
