Position Overview:
VP, Marketing will be directly responsible for building and leading the strategy, planning, execution and measurement of omni-channel marketing programs that drive growth and deliver business objectives across multiple markets. The VP is required to understand respective business areas, strategies and customer needs, setting the prioritization of marketing initiatives with the leadership team and ensuring that these initiatives provide maximum return on investment. This role is accountable for collaborating with multiple stakeholders across 5 markets (currently) to understand and address their needs to enable growth priorities with world-class marketing strategies and high-quality execution. The VP will have a thorough understanding of how to leverage the whole of OCP’s assets to effectively position our orthopedic services to drive customer growth and commercial success.
This role will be responsible for leading and coordinating the development of annual marketing plans that support the overall business strategic plans. This includes prioritization of initiatives, target setting (KPls), budget planning and forecasting, as well as improving the underlying upstream and downstream marketing technology. The VP will also direct and monitor operational performance with the corporate and regional teams, review budgets and performance metrics and take actions necessary to drive performance management to meet the defined business goals for Healthcare.
Duties / Responsibilities:
Strategic:
Collaborates with market leadership on business strategy, go-to-market alignment, organizational management, resourcing, and delivery of P&L goals.
Partners with key leaders to understand the short, mid, and long-term needs of the business. Translates this into a resource plan and strategic vision that identifies and prioritizes the growth/ investment in marketing to advance OCP’s position within specific customer segments and/or the market position of specific services.
Responsible for keeping OCP’s brand in sync with the evolution of the company and the changing markets; work to increase the company’s awareness and recall.
Develops and executes go-to-market strategies, including market research, positioning, and messaging to ensure successful service delivery; collaborate with patient intake teams to drive awareness, adoption, and revenue growth.
Develop an annual marketing plan in support of organizational strategy and objectives; provide staffing, budgets and timelines along with maintaining relationships with marketing agency partners.
Develop strategy for performance marketing channels and responsible for executing integrated online/offline, SEM/SEO, advertising, and other campaigns to generate awareness, demand and revenue.
Implementation and execution of marketing policies and practices including HIPAA compliance.
Leverage a deep level understanding of OCP’s orthopedic service offering with the ability to understand client needs, describe value propositions, and effectively evaluate the best ways to communicate our patient success story using data.
Evaluate new marketing technologies and ensure the company is ahead of the industry.
Continuously improve and elevate OCP’s creative capabilities.
Partner with patient intake and business leaders to identify key growth objectives, and spearhead efforts including lead gen, success measurement, the development and execution of plans.
Monitor trends and benchmark activities to anticipate and prepare for future or emerging marketing channels with consideration for business and patient needs and evolve our strategy over time to meet the changing landscape.
Leadership:
Builds, manages and empowers a team of marketing specialists who design and support the execution of programs that drive growth and propel business objectives across all markets and all /service levels.
Provide feedback and coaching to develop associates and foster career development to develop a committed and engaged team.
Communicate and build strong relationships with a diverse group of stakeholders at multiple levels including physicians and executives regarding upcoming projects, resource requirements, timelines, and project participation
Work closely with the operations team and patient intake team as well as other functional areas such as finance and legal and HR to understand and address business issues and develop meaningful analytics and reporting to contribute to its overall success of the business.
Drive analytical rigor and deep analysis on effectiveness and competitiveness of existing efforts; establish and drive key metrics which measure business impact at the macro and micro levers.
Demonstrate skill in evaluating lead generation, marketing strategy, patient needs, internal and external data sources and insights to develop a compelling and influential growth story.
Requirements:
Required Skills/Abilities:
Strong command of marketing strategy, planning, execution and analytics
Demonstrated ability to develop and manage business analysis for strategic planning and initiatives; identifying key issues, evaluating competitive market trends, tracking results and formulating recommendations to leadership
Senior-level Healthcare industry experience highly preferred
Has strong executive presence and presentation skills and shows courage of convictions
Can lead without title authority; ability to successfully navigate a highly matrixed environment

Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree; Master’s Degree preferred
Minimum of 15 years of progressive work experience in sales, marketing, business development; or any equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities needed to complete the major responsibilities/ essential functions of the position
