Position Summary: The Print Center Specialist is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of a print center and supporting staff to ensure high-quality printing services and efficient workflows. This role requires hands-on experience with various printing equipment, attention to detail, and excellent customer service skills. The Print Center Specialist will manage print jobs, maintain equipment, troubleshoot issues, deliver print products and provide support to customers or internal teams with print and finishing needs.
Critical Tasks:
Process and prioritize print orders from customers, clients, or departments.
Set up, operate, and maintain a variety of printing equipment including, but not limited to: digital printers, copiers, and large-format printers.
Ensure print jobs are completed on time, according to specifications, and with a high standard of quality.
Troubleshoot and resolve any print-related issues or equipment malfunctions.
Perform routine maintenance on print equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Communicate with clients or internal stakeholders to gather print specifications, provide quotes, and clarify job requirements.
Provide recommendations for print methods, finishes, and materials to meet customer needs.
Track and manage inventory of print supplies such as paper, ink, toner, and other materials.
Order supplies as necessary and ensure proper storage and handling of materials.
Maintain accurate records of print jobs, including orders, job costs, and completion times.
Assist with billing and invoicing for print services and production reports.
Ensure the print center adheres to safety regulations, including the proper handling of materials and equipment.
Ability to safely operate a large capacity transport van for print deliveries.
Work closely with members of the PR and Marketing Team and other departments, both clinical and operation, to support their printing needs.
Assist with special projects and events, as required, including large print runs or unique print jobs.
Others duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree or certifications in printing, graphic design, or related fields preferred.
Minimum one year of experience in a print center or similar production environment. Proficiency in operation various types of printing equipment and technology.
Attention to detail with a focus of quality control.
Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks.
Excellent communication skills to interact with customers, vendors, and team members.
Valid Arizona driver’s license, violation free for a minimum of five years.
Demonstrates ability to relate to diverse cultures and specifically the Gila River Community and/or other Native American cultures and community health services.
