Plymouth Rock is seeking a highly motivated Digital Communications Associate to join our growing Marketing Communications Team and help shape the way we engage with our independent agent partners. The Digital Communications Associate will take ownership of key projects designed to strengthen Plymouth Rock’s relationship with agents and drive the growth of our independent agency business.
The Digital Communications Associate will contribute to the overarching communications strategy by leading the development of impactful materials and resources that enable agents to effectively market Plymouth Rock. The candidate will be responsible for identifying and implementing innovative solutions that support agent growth and managing the relationships between the Marketing Communications team and various stakeholders throughout the organization.
The candidate will build the strategy for larger projects, lead stakeholders through project phases, designate resources, monitor progress and evaluate results. Projects include creation and coordination of various marketing materials, communication campaigns, social media content and other one-off projects. The ideal candidate will possess excellent interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple high-priority projects and competing deadlines.

Responsibilities:
Oversee communication initiatives:
Launch targeted communication journeys for independent insurance agents.
Manage the development of marketing materials such as email copy, FAQs, sell sheets, brochures, and fact sheets.
Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to develop and refine communication strategies.
Evaluate campaign performance and implement data-driven optimizations to enhance engagement.
Continuously improve email communication strategies to maximize reach and effectiveness.
Project Management:
Lead the execution of unique projects designed to support independent insurance agents, creating customized communication tools and resources that empower agents to better serve their clients.
Track project performance and proactively identify opportunities to optimize processes, enhance efficiency, and drive continuous improvement.
Oversee the strategic direction of the Plymouth Rock Marketing Hub, a centralized portal for agent and customer-facing marketing materials. Responsible for driving increased engagement and optimizing platform utilization to enhance overall effectiveness.
Process Improvement:
Identify and implement opportunities for optimizations across the overall communications program to enhance effectiveness and efficiency.
Maintain a comprehensive team communication style guide, establishing a consistent tone and messaging approach for Agency Communications.
Additional Responsibilities:
Manage and maintain the team’s email inbox, content calendar, and project backlog, ensuring timely responses and efficient workflow.
Manage contracts with external vendors and suppliers, ensuring clear communication of expectations and deliverables, and maintaining strong relationships to support project success.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, or a related field.
4-5 years of professional experience.
Demonstrated project management expertise with a proven track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within scope.
In-depth knowledge of email marketing principles, including design, build, segmentation, and familiarity with industry best practices such as deliverability optimization, A/B testing, dynamic content, and campaign automation.
Highly self-motivated, with strong problem-solving abilities and a strong attention to detail, ensuring efficient and independent execution of tasks.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative approach to working across teams and stakeholders.
Strong writing capabilities, including experience in crafting creative briefs and developing email copy.
Insurance industry experience or familiarity with insurance products is a plus.
Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud is a plus.
Basic understanding of sports and comfortability marketing to sports fans.
