The Manager of Digital Marketing leads the digital marketing programs, and communication, across all touchpoints of the customer experience. Leads the digital strategy, development, and execution of company initiatives, vendor and community partnerships, customer-facing and digital marketing strategy and communications, and customer experience technology programs and platforms. Responsible for driving brand initiatives, brand voice, and brand awareness as it appears across all digital channels. Continually seeks opportunities to enhance efficiency through new activation methods, product categories, and marketing techniques.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Manages operations of the digital marketing for Native Roots.
Leads the development of the digital media strategy, execution, and optimization of campaigns across multiple digital media channels including Display, Mobile, SEO/SEM, Social, Influencer, Email, SMS, and Streaming Audio.
Ensures KPI’s are met for the channels they own and can pivot if needed.
Identifies, tests, and validates a variety of digital products, programs, automation and vendors/partners to continually evolve our digital media presence.
Oversees all digital media performance reporting including tracking trends and metrics as well as recommending adjustments to media plans and strategies.
Advises and consults on all aspects of the day-to-day management of digital media channels.
Develops strategies to thrive in product categories while planning continuous experiments for opportunities to generate revenue.
Leads the social media strategy and is the final approver for all posts.
Optimizes customer communication by automating campaigns and providing personalized experiences to the customers by targeting and segmenting our audiences in all channels.
Collaborates with teams on brand-wide initiatives, such as new product launches and promotions, to ensure a consistent and optimized customer experience across all digital media channels.
Develops and maintains relationships with department stakeholders, vendors, partners, and creative collaborators.
Ensures brand look and displays are consistent in appearance and aligned with presentation standards.
Promotes brand awareness, positive product impressions, customer loyalty and retention, new customer acquisition, and market influencers to increase sales through platform and initiative management.
Ensures all digital marketing strategies, programs, and media channels are compliant MED laws and advertising regulations.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

5 years of progressive and related digital marketing experience.
Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
Must possess or obtain a Colorado Marijuana Enforcement Division (MED) Employee Badge.
Experience building teams and internal partnerships.
Strong understanding of the digital media ecosystem.
Experience managing paid and organic search campaigns using Google Analytics, Webmaster Tools, Google AdWords, and Bing Ads.
Experience with cross-channel and/or full-funnel strategies, including traditional and digital advertising, direct response programs, email, website development, mobile, search, eCommerce and social media.
Experience supporting or managing customer focused membership loyalty programs.
Experience leveraging ethnographic research.
Strong project management experience.
Experience with a client service organization, preferably in a retail environment.
Experience and knowledge of design and design processes, combined with technology.
Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills to assess data and make informed decisions.
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent organization and time management skills.
Proficiency using Google Suite and/or Microsoft Office programs including Gmail, Calendar Docs, Slides, Sheets, Word, Excel and Powerpoint.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

2 years of management experience.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Sitting for extended periods of time.
Ability to carry up to 35 lbs.
Ability to perform the following physical tasks: sitting, standing, stooping, stretching, walking, bending, twisting, reaching, performing repetitive motions, and carrying boxes.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

Regular attendance is expected and is considered an essential function necessary for the efficient operation of the business.
