What You’ll Do:
You’ll be primarily responsible for the creation and optimization of paid channel strategies for 3 of BIG’s brands, but you will also lead the testing of other channels like CTV, streaming audio, and direct mail. You will have a front row seat in how your marketing strategies help grow the BIG brands and their sales. You’ll use data to drive your investment decisions, optimize your campaigns and fuel ideas for testing new creative and audiences.
This role will be reporting to the Senior Marketing Manager, who will be consistently coaching, mentoring and giving you the training to ensure you are constantly growing and learning. You will collaborate frequently with team members on the Brand, eCommerce, Retention, Creative and Finance teams to share ideas to continue to push the BIG brands forward. Media Strategy & Execution
Own the growth and optimization of paid new customer acquisition strategies to meet key KPIs and the company’s financial goals
Use channel expertise & insights to drive strategy across all paid channels, including paid search, paid social, video, affiliates, CTV, and audio/podcast
Closely monitor performance within paid platforms, looking for improvement opportunities and diving in deep when needed to alter direction of channel performance
Stay on top of industry trends, making recommendations and launching new channels and campaigns when appropriate
Create and communicate channel marketing plans with clear KPIs, performance recaps, recommendations and plans of action to showcase the team’s work to key stakeholders
Oversee development of creative briefs, making sure creative requests are aligned with media goals, testing plans, and best practices
Testing, Budget Management & Measurement
Manage monthly paid ad budget based on business trends and make re-allocation decisions to deliver on revenue and acquisition goals
Partner with Brand, Retention, eCommerce, and Creative teams to create and implement on-going, robust testing plans that create seamless user journeys and drive continual improvements in conversions and other key KPIs
Oversee tracking, attribution and reporting of channel performance to be as accurate as possible to make solid optimization decisions and media mix allocations for maximum ROI
Cross-Functional Partnership
Build cross-department relationships through regular meetings and consistent communication regarding campaign performance, insights, changes, and plans to improve
Develop new ways of working with cross-department teams if processes or communication workstreams are no longer working
Collaborate and align across Brand, eCommerce, Sales, Ops, and Finance teams on budgeting, forecasting, and performance reporting
Collaborate with platform partners on joint business plans, identifying cross-brand optimizations, gathering industry trends/insights, and aligning on digital strategies
Requirements:
At least 4-6 years’ experience in digital acquisition, performance marketing, growth marketing or demand generation
High proficiency in tools like Google Analytics, Google Ads, Facebook Business Manager, Tiktok Ads Manager and other ad platforms.
Proven analytical ability to digest data and derive actionable strategic insights, with a high proficiency in connecting marketing performance to business performance
Strong understanding and experience with A/B testing fundamentals, match market testing frameworks, and implementation of these testing strategies
Familiarity with ad serving, tracking, and attribution technologies
Exceptional attention to detail and strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex data and concepts to non-experts
Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform and motivate
Strong partnership and influencing skills; Relationship oriented with an ability to work effectively across departments to drive results
Results-oriented, proactive and a highly responsive individual
Self-motivated and strategic thinker with a bias towards action and getting things done while also being a strong team player?
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in affiliate, CTV, direct mail, or other digital marketing channels.
Experience working for an advertising agency is a plus.
Knowledge of PowerBI, Salesforce, Excel or other data analysis tools is a plus.
Knowledge of and/or experience within the Beauty industry is a plus.
