Retail & Social Media Marketing Specialist (Part-Time)
Overview
We are seeking an energetic and customer-focused team member to join our luxury lash supply and studio business in a dual retail and social media role. This unique position combines hands-on retail experience with creative social media management. The ideal candidate will excel at in-person customer service while being passionate about social media trends and content creation. This is a part-time position (4-hour shifts) offering valuable experience in both retail operations and digital marketing.
Primary Responsibilities
Retail & Customer Service (Primary Focus):
Manage in-store retail operations and provide exceptional customer service
Assist professional lash artists with product selection and recommendations
Handle inventory management and product organization
Process sales transactions and maintain organized retail space
Participate in live selling sessions on TikTok and other platforms
Support local wholesale account management
Fulfill online orders
Social Media & Content Creation:
Create engaging content for social media platforms (TikTok, Instagram, Facebook)
Capture high-quality photos and videos of products and studio activities
Assist in developing and executing social media campaigns
Monitor and engage with audience across social platforms
Track social media metrics and retail sales performance
Participate in team brainstorming sessions for business improvement
Requirements
Retail or customer service experience required
Strong social media presence and understanding of current trends
Excellence in face-to-face communication and customer relations
Photography and basic video editing skills
Ability to multitask between retail duties and content creation
Interest in beauty industry and retail sales
Reliable and punctual with consistent availability
Creative mindset with attention to detail
