Compensation Range: $95, per year
We’re seeking a Director of Brand Communications to lead marketing and communication strategies that drive brand awareness, customer engagement, and sales growth. You’ll oversee brand storytelling, content strategy, and media alignment, ensuring a consistent brand voice across all channels. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you’ll lead seasonal campaigns, influencer programs, and PR efforts to strengthen our brand presence and foster customer loyalty.
Responsibilities:
Essential Responsibilities
Brand & Content Storytelling: Develop compelling narratives to enhance brand awareness and relevance.
Owned Media: Drive engagement through organic marketing across digital channels, integrating brand-building into revenue-driven campaigns.
Paid Media: Lead campaign strategy, creative development, and media execution, ensuring timely activation and optimization.
Public Relations: Oversee PR strategy, media outreach, and event planning to elevate brand presence.
Influencers & Partnerships: Manage strategic partnerships to amplify brand impact through co-branded and co-marketing initiatives.
Team Leadership: Mentor a team in brand and social marketing, fostering collaboration and process improvements.
Data & Insights: Utilize market data and marketing tools to develop effective strategies and recommendations.
Agency Management: Oversee relationships with external agencies to ensure alignment with marketing goals.
Qualifications:
Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field; master’s degree preferred.
7-10 years of experience in brand marketing, content marketing, or communications; experience in CPG, beauty, or personal care is a plus.
3-5 years of leadership experience managing high-performing marketing or creative teams.
Strong background in brand development and strategy.
Proven ability to build relationships with media, influencers, and industry partners.
Experience with branding strategies, social media tools, and content marketing.
Excellent writing, editing, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
Skills & Abilities:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and marketing design software (Photoshop, InDesign).
Strong understanding of brand development, multichannel marketing, and creative processes.
Ability to analyze market trends and develop strategic insights.
Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects, influence cross-functional teams, and mentor staff effectively.
