Director, Global Head of Brand Marketing – Facebook Jobs in New York, NY at Facebook App

We are looking for a creative, organized, and motivated Event Marketing Assistant to join our marketing team. In this role, you will help support the planning and execution of marketing events, including product launches, trade shows, webinars, conferences, and other promotional activities. You will play a key role in coordinating logistics, communicating with vendors and clients, and ensuring that events run smoothly. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in event marketing and contribute to the success of our marketing initiatives.

Hourly Rate: $30–$32 (depending on experience)

Key Responsibilities:

Event Planning & Coordination:
Assist in the planning and coordination of various marketing events, including logistics, timeline management, and vendor coordination.

Event Promotion:
Help develop promotional materials, including invitations, event flyers, social media posts, and email newsletters to generate awareness and drive attendance.

Vendor & Client Communication:
Coordinate with external vendors, suppliers, and partners to ensure all aspects of events are executed smoothly.

On-Site Event Support:
Provide on-site support during events, including registration, setup, teardown, and managing event activities to ensure everything runs on schedule.

Content Creation:
Assist in creating event-related content such as blog posts, press releases, and social media updates before, during, and after events.

Event Analytics & Reporting:
Collect data during and after events to measure attendee engagement, campaign success, and overall event impact. Assist in compiling post-event reports.

Social Media Management:
Help manage event-related social media accounts and contribute to event promotion and live updates during events.

Administrative Support:
Provide administrative assistance to the event marketing team, including managing calendars, organizing files, and coordinating meetings.

Requirements:

Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Event Management, or a related field.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to multitask and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace.
Experience with event planning or marketing is a plus, but not required.
Familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing tools.
A positive, proactive attitude with the ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
