Description:
Represents themselves and the hotel with the highest level of integrity and professionalism, a service-focused approach, and a caring, sincere attitude always.
Have current knowledge of hotel rates, strategies, discounts, and promotions.
Responsible for responding to RFPs as well as completing any required sales reports.
Prepare contracts and proposals with accuracy and communicate timely and professionally with clients.
Following up with prospects and generating leads
Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others and support the team to reach common goals.
Answer calls and emails, respond to inquiries in a pleasant & professional manner
Act as the primary point of contact for clients organizing groups with the hotel, once the contract has been signed
Respond to client questions about property facilities and services (e.g., hours of operation, rates and room types, packages, promotions, restaurants, etc.)
Prepare sales proposals, issue sales contracts as required
Coordinate sales & marketing activities internally with the sales leader
Follow-up with clients for the return of countersigned contracts and deposits
Gather materials and assemble information packs (e.g. brochures, promotional materials, sales demo kit, welcome kit, souvenir etc.)
Requirements:
Minimum of one year hotel or lodging experience
Excellent customer service and communications skills, solution driven
Ability to work independently with little supervision self-starter
Manage challenging situations in a calm and professional manner
High level of organization and attention to detail
Professional verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
Experience managing/using CRM systems, Siteminder, Teams & PMS systems preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 – $220.00 per hour
