Are you ready to lead a marketing team that’s redefining how Canadians view retirement? The Director, Marketing will be responsible for the strategic direction, development, and execution of the marketing strategy and programs that enhance the organization’spurpose, by creating awareness with prospective employers, business partners, and stakeholders. This position is critical to meeting ourpurposewhich is to bring awareness to every employer on the unique characteristics of the CAAT pension plan and provide predictable and sustainable pensions for all Canadians.
With a marketing team that will report into this position, the strategy will leverage a mix of digital, content, and direct marketing initiatives to build strong relationships with various audience segments in the retirement industry. The role requires a deep understanding of business-to-business growth strategies and the financial landscape to create effective marketing strategies that resonate with different employer sizes, industries and objectives.
We are looking for someone with:
Proven expertise in financial services marketing, with a deep understanding ofretirement planning, pension products, or similar industries.
Strategic acumen to balance long-term version with day-to-day tactical execution, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
Data driven decision-making skills, leveraging analytics to evaluate campaign performance strategy and inform strategy.
Regulatory knowledge, understanding the compliance landscape in financial services (e.g., FSRA, CSA).
At least 5 years ofleadershipexperience, with a track record of building, mentoring, and inspiring high-performing marketing teams or cross-functional project teams.
Innovativethinking, constantly seeking creative approaches to connect withdiverseaudiences and adapt to industry trends.

Develop strategic marketing plans that align with the growth team’s objectives, leveraging market insights, industry themes, and buyer behaviour to drive impact.
Lead multi-channel campaigns, managing email, social media, web, and other mediums to engage stakeholders and enhance brand visibility.
Drive digital marketing efforts to optimize our online presence and attract new prospects.
Planimpactfulevents and publications, from webinars and workshops to thoughtleadershippieces, amplifying our presence in the pension industry to enhance and align to the growth strategy.
