The FIFA World Cup 2026™ is coming to North America—the biggest sporting event in the world, drawing billions of fans across the globe. As the FIFA World Cup 2026™ New York New Jersey (NYNJ) Host Committee, we are the local organizing body responsible for delivering eight matches at MetLife Stadium, including the iconic Final. Our mission is to create an unforgettable, accessible, and impactful experience for fans, athletes, partners, and the NYNJ community. Beyond the matches, we are committed to fostering community engagement, driving economic growth, and harnessing the power of soccer to unite and inspire people worldwide.

What You Will Do:
Support and amplify NYNJ’s paid media strategy, experiential and grassroots initiatives.
Develop and oversee integrated campaigns across owned and paid channels.
Help manage media buying and campaign fulfillment and liaise with media agency.
Ensure brand consistency, visID, and tone across owned and paid channels, in alignment with FIFA and Host Committee IP and brand guidelines.
Support planning and execution of “city dressing” efforts throughout the region.
Help coordinate content and distribution across owned and paid channels.
What You Bring:
5-7 years of experience in integrated marketing, media planning, brand strategy or related.
Genuine passion for sports, especially soccer, and belief in its power to unite, inspire, and drive community impact.
Experience in consumer lifestyle and sports marketing, with a track record of delivering culturally relevant campaigns, sponsorship activations, and audience-first storytelling.
Strong project management and organizational skills; able to balance multiple priorities and deadlines while keeping both the details and the big picture in focus.
Proven ability to lead multi-channel campaigns from concept through execution, with a strong focus on storytelling, audience engagement and performance.
Deep understanding of both traditional and digital media, including social, display, search, video, experiential and website.
Experience collaborating with agencies and/or cross-functional teams.
Exceptional written and visual communication skills; ability to craft clear, compelling narratives across formats.
Proficiency in tools such as PowerPoint, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar; comfortable creating polished, presentation-ready materials.
Collaborative mindset with a proactive, solution-oriented approach.

Bonus Points If You Have:
Experience working on large-scale events or city-wide marketing and branding campaigns.
A track record of working with major global brands, including Fortune 100 and Fortune 500 companies, on integrated marketing efforts.
Proficiency in additional languages, with Spanish strongly preferred due to regional needs and global reach; French, German, and other official FIFA languages are also a plus.
A deep, personal passion for soccer (football) and familiarity with the FIFA World Cup ecosystem.
A demonstrated commitment to community engagement and social impact through marketing efforts.
Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.

Salary Range Information
Based on market data and other functions, the annual salary range for this position is $100,000-$110,000. These figures represent the full compensation range of this position. The actual offered amount will be determined based on the following factors: education, experience, geographic market, and internal pay equity.
