Position Overview
The Director of Growth & Paid Media will drive the performance marketing strategy for SWTHZ, leading paid media, direct response marketing, and our technology stack efforts to acquire, convert, and retain customers across corporate and franchise locations. This leader will oversee all digital growth initiatives, optimize customer acquisition costs, and develop data-driven strategies to accelerate revenue growth.

Responsibilities
Own and scale SWTHZ’s paid media strategy across platforms (Meta, Google, TikTok, YouTube, etc)
Build and deploy ads across all platforms, while managing and mentoring a team of Paid Media Specialist
Optimize customer acquisition costs (CAC), return on ad spend (ROAS), and lifetime value (LTV).
Lead marketing analytics with the data team to create reports and dashboards to monitor performance KPIs (CAC, ROAS, LTV).
Develop and execute lead generation strategies for new and existing locations.
Partner with franchisees to align marketing efforts and optimize local ad spend.
Oversee landing pages, funnel optimization, and conversion rate improvements.
Collaborate with the content team to develop high-performing ad creatives and copy.
Lead the marketing tech stack and ensure best-in-class tracking, attribution, and reporting.
Stay ahead of industry trends and test new growth channels and tactics.
Manage and mentor a Paid Media Specialist and external agencies as needed.
Required Experience
3+ years of experience in paid media and performance marketing, preferably in a multi-location business (franchise, fitness, wellness, or retail).
Proven track record of scaling paid acquisition programs profitably. Experience with SEO is a plus.
Deep knowledge of Meta Ads, Google Ads, programmatic, and emerging ad platforms.
Strong analytical skills with experience in Google Analytics, Tableau, or similar tools.
Experience with first-party data, CRM, and marketing automation (MindBody Online are Axle are our platforms, but general knowledge of Klaviyo as an example are the right foundation)
Background in subscription-based models and/or brick-and-mortar growth strategies is a plus.
Experience working with franchise businesses is strongly preferred.

Compensation & Benefits
Comp $120-$140k
