The NexPoint Marketing team is responsible for all aspects of marketing for the organization, including branding & communications, product marketing, digital advertising, event marketing, email marketing and website management.
Job DescriptionNexPoint has an immediate opening for a bright, ambitious leader for our Marketing Team who has broad-based knowledge of advanced marketing concepts, exceptional writing and communication skills, and experience creating content for various investor channels. We seek a qualified candidate who performs well under pressure, prioritizes effectively, and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment on a wide variety of activities. The Marketing function plays a central role in developing and executing the firm’s growth initiatives related to launching new products to our distribution network, growing and refining our digital presence, and providing an unparalleled experience for our partners and clients.
Requirements
Create and manage marketing materials for new product launches considering all available communication channels (email, events, website, social media, paid advertising, etc.) that are compelling, cohesive, and polished
Develop and execute comprehensive marketing plans through thought leadership, brand and design, PR, client marketing, product marketing, digital marketing, demand generation, social media, etc.
Effectively communicate new marketing content, campaigns and programs to the business development team and the real estate team
Work with regional wholesalers to develop content to support sales goals for Marketo Sales Insight
Take initiative to explore new approaches to increase efficiency, document organization, refine documentation and procedures, and improve processes without sacrificing creativity or quality
Proofread all marketing content throughout the development and approval process to ensure it is accurate and reviewed by compliance
Manage information flow across numerous departments and prioritizing marketing initiatives based on timely company-wide goals
Assist Business Development team with a wide variety of ad-hoc projects, acting as a general utility player as needed
Writing clear, concise and grammatically correct copy
Driving the creation of original concepts that result in effective and compelling communication
Understanding different language styles that appeal to various target markets
Developing and maintaining a clear and consistent brand voice
Familiarity with commonly used style guides
Qualifications
Financial Services and/or Real Estate industry experience preferred
3-5+ years of experience working in marketing, advertising, or similar environment
An undergraduate degree from a well-regarded institution, MBA or any finance training is a plus
