Role Overview

As an Account Executive, your primary responsibility will be to generate and close new business. You will be responsible for prospecting, networking, and establishing relationships with home service business owners. Success in this role requires strategic outreach, expert sales execution, and consistent deal closing. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of exceeding sales targets and the ability to sign 30+ new clients annually.

Responsibilities

Drive new business by prospecting, networking, and leveraging referrals to generate leads.
Consistently close new accounts and expand Phlash Consulting’s market position.
Utilize social media, lead generation tools, and CRM platforms to identify new business opportunities.
Build and manage a sales pipeline to ensure a steady flow of high-quality leads.
Run sales meetings, pitch Phlash Consulting’s services, and close deals.
Understand a prospect’s business needs and position our services as the solution.
Represent Phlash Consulting at virtual industry events, networking opportunities, and other new business events.
Track and report sales activities using spreadsheets and CRM software (Salesforce or equivalent).

Who We’re Looking For

2+ years of experience in sales or as an Account Executive, ideally in digital marketing, advertising, or an agency setting.
Proven track record of closing $100K+ in new business annually.
Experience with outbound prospecting, including cold outreach and lead nurturing.
Ability to self-generate leads through prospecting, social media, referrals, and industry networking.
Strong negotiation and closing skills with a consultative sales approach.
Comfortable managing and tracking sales activity in CRM software and spreadsheets.
Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to consistently hit sales targets.

Compensation & Benefits

Base Salary: $50,000 per year
Commission: $1,750 per new client signed
Retention Bonus: $1,000 per client that stays for 6+ months
On-Target Earnings (OTE): $105,000–$132,000 per year based on performance
Fully remote role with a flexible work schedule
