The Director of Marketing Operations is a seasoned professional with 8+ years of experience in marketing operations and marketing technologies. This role demands a strategic thinker and proven leader who excels at evaluating, analyzing, and implementing robust strategies and integrations to drive business revenue. The ideal candidate will lead high-impact campaign initiatives, strategic planning, and execution while collaborating with key stakeholders to build a world-class Marketing Operations (MarkOps) and Marketing Technology (MarTech) strategy. This includes oversight of website management, lead management, data and analytics, email campaigns, measurement, attribution, and process optimization.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Performance Optimization: Continuously enhance processes, performance, and analytics to improve organizational and customer satisfaction.
2. Conversion Rate Optimization: Utilize best-in-class A/B testing methodologies and tools to create testing roadmap and achieve incremental improvements in conversion rates.
3. Website Management: Oversee web property management, constant updates to design, and UX to optimize conversion metrics and meet established targets
4. Process: Lead marketing processes in collaboration with marketing and sales functions, including lead routing, buyer’s journey mapping, lead flow, and reporting.
5. Technology Ownership: Own and manage the marketing technology infrastructure, collaborating with IT, revenue operations, and other departments. Drive projects related to implementation, governance, and the innovation roadmap for marketing automation platforms and the marketing tech stack.
6. Data & Analytics: Support marketing initiatives by providing insights and ensuring best-in-class marketing strategies. Advice on database optimization, including data acquisition, segmentation, and maintaining data cleanliness and integrity across CRM and marketing information systems
7. Team Leadership: Act as a player-coach, leading a small team of marketing operations professionals to set priorities, allocate resources, and develop cross-team strategies for technology governance, forecasting, and analytics.
8. Lead Management: Oversee marketing metrics, lead routing, and reporting processes to ensure seamless integration with sales workflows.
Job Requirements:
1. 8+ years overseeing a Marketing Operations function, with demonstrated success in operationalizing marketing strategies and managing tech stacks.
2. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations, Marketing, or a related field
3. Familiarity with tools such as HubSpot, Kentico, Shopify, BigQuery, Infinity, Looker Studio, OneTrust, Unbounce, VWO, Zoho, WordPress, Mailchimp, and similar platforms.
4. Ability to address complex business challenges and build scalable processes
5. Strong communication and presentation skills to distill complex strategies into actionable recommendations
6. Highly collaborative team player with the ability to work closely with cross-functional leaders to develop credible, actionable solutions.
7. Strong bias toward action, experimentation, and sound judgment in ambiguous situations.
