The Marketing Assistant will report directly to the President of the company. This position requires close attention to detail, critical thinking, strong typing skills, the ability to multitask, and the capability to excel in a high pressure, deadline driven organization. Will also require the ability to learn multiple different roles. The position will have a role in helping to foster sales/marketing (through email/social media as well as over the phone). This is an in office position (no remote work is currently offered).
PRIMARY DUTIES:
Sales/Marketing
Provide general administrative support to managers as necessary.
Screen calls, handle, or route to appropriate people
Heavy data entry
Some HR and Safety (ISN, Avetta, and OSHA logs)
Generate purchase orders
Prepare/compose correspondence & contracts as directed.
Assist in Estimating
Ordering office supplies
Emailing certificate of insurance to appropriate people.
REQUIREMENTS:
Sales/Marketing Experience to include a high volume of cold calling prospects
Excellent phone skills
Social Media Marketing Skills
Ability to set up and manage email campaigns
Website skills
CRM Experience
Appointment Setting
Willingness to learn and grow into different roles within the company
Excellent Typing and Spelling Skills
Strong Computer Skills
Proficient in Microsoft Products (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access, Power Point)
Have OSHA 30 training or willingness to obtain
Excellent Proofreading Skills
Knowledge of Standard Office Methods and Equipment
Ability to Maintain Strict Confidentiality
Ability to Manage Time and Tasks Effectively
Strong Communication and Interpersonal Skills
