Job Overview
The Director of Strategic Communications is responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing andcommunicationstrategies that advance the district’s mission to inspire and empower every child every day. This position is crucial in promoting our commitment to academic excellence,innovation, fiscal responsibility, optimal learning environments, andcommunity engagementas outlined in our strategic plan. This role leads strategic marketing efforts to highlight the district’s achievements and the value of publiceducationwhile fostering strong relationships with all stakeholders.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s degree (required) in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field, Master’s (preferred)
Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in strategic communications, marketing, or public relations
Experience in theeducationsector, a plus
Proven track recordof developing and executing successful marketing campaigns
