Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Admission Representative to join our team. As an Admission Representative, you will play a crucial role in recruiting and enrolling students into our educational institution. You will have the opportunity to educate prospective students and provide them with guidance throughout the admissions process.
Duties:
– Outreach – focus on dials, texts, emails, etc when you do not have a student on campus. Dials are a requirement, so you must be comfortable with heavy phone volume.
– Provide accurate and detailed information about our programs, admission requirements, and financial aid options
– Assist prospective students with the application process, including reviewing applications and supporting documentation
– Conduct interviews with prospective students to assess their qualifications and fit for our institution
– Collaborate with instructors to ensure a smooth transition for admitted students
– Utilize verity to maintain student records and track admissions progress
– Participate in recruitment events, such as college fairs and campus tours, to attract potential students
– Stay up-to-date on industry trends and changes in education administration
Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred
– Experience working with students in an educational setting is highly desirable
– Strong public speaking skills with the ability to engage and inspire audiences
– Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with diverse individuals
– Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment
– Proficiency in using Ellucian or similar student information systems is a plus
