Position: E-Commerce Sales, CRO Specialist & Website Developer

Overview:

The E-Commerce Sales, CRO Specialist & Website Developer will report directly to the Director of Sales & Business Development, and collaborate closely with the Digital Marketing team to drive the growth of our online store sales and streamline fulfillment center operations. This role is essential for enhancing the customer experience and increasing sales through strategic advertising, customer experience initiatives, and efficient inventory management.

Responsibilities:

Improve Conversion Rate Optimization & Grow E-commerce Sales:

Provide regular reporting and insights on CRO performance metrics, test results, and actionable recommendations to key stakeholders.
Monitor and analyze daily, weekly, and monthly sales performance to identify trends, provide actionable insights, and drive efforts toward reaching monthly sales goals.
Collaborate with marketing, customer experience, and other relevant teams to oversee the schedule of new product launches and propose best-in-class ways to display new products across all Sobremesa product websites.
Analyze website performance metrics, user behavior data, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for improvement in the online shopping experience.
Troubleshoot website, address UX/UI issues, and maintain comprehensive documentation for effective communication.
Execute and optimize Google Adwords, Meta, and Amazon campaigns to boost sales performance.
Optimize shipping methods, prices, and manage discounts on the online store to increase customer acquisitions and enhance efficiency
Set up and conduct A/B tests and other experiments to validate hypotheses and drive continuous improvement in conversion rates and revenue.
Monitor industry trends and best practices in merchandising and CRO techniques to stay ahead of the curve and maintain a competitive advantage.
Manage SEO efforts to increase visibility and traffic.
Enhance the online customer experience in collaboration with management.
Produce engaging content for blog posts and social media to support marketing efforts.
Website design improvement, optimize landing pages and website performance
Develop and distribute weekly newsletters.

Fulfillment & Distribution:

Process daily online orders across all channels, including Shopify, Wholesale, Los Olivos, and third-party platforms.
Support the execution of packaging, logistics, and shipping to ensure smooth operations.
Implement strategies to elevate the customer experience, including personalized packaging and follow-up communication.
Manage support emails, customer surveys, and resolve any issues that arise.
Ensure accurate inventory management and oversee daily shipment operations.
Collaborate with the Wholesale team to manage inventory and fulfill orders efficiently.
Conduct monthly inventory controls, including stock counts and cost analysis.
Oversee intercompany purchases and transfers to maintain stock levels.
Maintain an organized inventory and storage facility, receiving and recording all new inventory.

Website Development

Proficiency in Web Development Languages: HTML, CSS, JavaScript: Essential for front-end development, design customization, and responsiveness.
Frontend Frameworks: Liquid (for Shopify): knowledge of Liquid templating is essential.
Backend Development & APIs. Custom API Integrations: Ability to build or modify APIs for custom needs, including adding product data or integrating with external systems.
Responsive Web Design: Ensuring the site is mobile-friendly, considering mobile commerce is a huge part of eCommerce sales.
Mobile-First Design: Prioritizing mobile users to ensure they have a seamless shopping experience.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, eCommerce, Computer Science, or related field.
Deep understanding of user experience (UX) and customer journey mapping.
Expertise in A/B testing and user personalization to enhance the shopping experience.
Ability to implement customer service best practices in the eCommerce setting.
3-5 years of experience in managing eCommerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce).
Proven track record of increasing online sales and improving customer engagement.
Experience with digital marketing strategies, including SEO, SEM, PPC, and email marketing.
Familiarity with eCommerce platforms, content management systems (CMS), and web analytics tools (Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics).
Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to customize website designs, layout, and functionality.
Strong knowledge of liquid templating for Shopify
Proficiency in SEO and digital advertising platforms (Google Ads, Meta Ads, etc.).
Strong data analysis skills to interpret metrics and translate insights into actionable improvements.
Ability to manage budgets and ensure profitability of online campaigns.
Proficiency in reporting tools to monitor eCommerce performance.

Compensation:

Base Salary: $48,000/year
Plus Performance Bonus: Eligibility for performance bonuses based on specific criteria, provided upon job offer. Bonuses are subject to applicable deductions.
