About the Role:Reporting to the Senior Director of Amazon & eRetail, the e-commerce manager for Amazon & eRetailers will oversee and optimize our Amazon, e-retail, and Pure Play accounts, focusing on Point of Sale (POS), Wholesale, and Marketing initiatives. You will play a pivotal role in managing and expanding our relationship with Amazon, e-retailers, and global Pure Plays, ensuring that revenue and velocity goals are not only met but exceeded.
Responsibilities will span from strategic planning in partnership with the Sr. Director to tactical execution. Your insights will directly influence our sales and marketing strategies.
Global Branding Synergy and Risk Management 30%
Coordinate promotional activities on Amazon with Olaplex’s broader sales and marketing efforts, ensuring that promotions align with brand messaging and total activations calendar
Identify and assess potential risks associated with negotiated terms, allowances, promotional opportunities and implement measures to mitigate these risks and protect the business’ financial interests
Regularly track and analyze Key Performance Indicators related to sales, marketing, and customer engagement. Provide strategic insights based on data to senior management on a weekly basis
Offer expert guidance on Amazon-related strategies, identifying opportunities to optimize gains from successful tactics and efficiently counteracting negative trends
Marketing & Creative, Internal & External Team Collaboration and Customer Experience 50%
Forge a close partnership with Olaplex Marketing and Creative teams to ensure a deep understanding of the brands go-to-market strategy and overall messaging approach
Collaborate with the Amazon Ad’s team and key agency partners to conceptualize and implement effective media campaigns that align with Amazon’s platform and audience
Collaborate closely with Olaplex Marketing and Creative teams to develop product listings, images, videos, and other content that accurately reflects the brand’s identity and value
Utilize insights from Olaplex media campaigns and site performance to enhance the overall customer experience on Amazon, making sure it aligns with the brand’s desired perception
Relationship Building, Communication & Documentation 20%
Offer expert guidance on Amazon & eRetailer related strategies, identifying opportunities to optimize gains from successful tactics and efficiently counteracting negative trends
Forge a close partnership with OLAPLEX Marketing and Creative teams to ensure a deep understanding of the brands go-to-market strategy and overall messaging approach
