Role :
JoVE is looking for an experienced marketing professional with a STEM degree to
join our team
as an Editorial Marketing Specialist. In this role, you will manage marketing outreach, ensuring that content is scientifically accurate and campaigns are executed effectively.
Responsibilities
Manage global email marketing, including publishing campaigns, and campaigns to encourage citations and grow the journal.
Collaborate with the Editorial team to ensure campaigns (newsletters, social media content, flyers) meet their marketing objectives and align with JoVE’s brand messaging.
Implement an email marketing strategy based on the needs of the research community using compelling yet scientifically accurate language for engagement.
Collaborate with creative teams to create compelling email campaigns & landing pages that resonate with our target audience.
Manage and implement the entire campaign pipeline from start to finish, ensuring a seamless process in
collaboration
with other marketing teams.
Report on and analyze campaign effectiveness and efficiency.
Requirements
A PhD in a STEM subject.
3+ years of experience in Marketing. Experience working in academic publishing or higher
education
(Edtech) is required.
Excellent verbal and written
communication skills
.
Strong experience managing demand generation, lead nurturing, and developing creative content across multiple channels.
Proficiency in marketing automation tools (e.g., Hub Spot) for executing integrated demand generation campaigns, measurement, and
optimization
.
