Job Summary:

This role will support the development and execution of social media strategies, assist in planning and promoting events, and manage the coordination of promotional and print materials. Additionally, the ideal candidate will provide support across a variety of other responsibilities as needed to ensure smooth operation of marketing initiatives. Strong communication skills, creativity, and attention to detail are essential for success in this position.

Education & Experience

Position Qualifications:

Required Qualifications:

High school diploma/GED and two years of work experience. Post-secondary education may be substituted for experience.

Demonstrated work experience in social media content planning and creation.
Excellent writing and editing skills (AP Style)
Ability to create engaging digital and print content. Proficiency in graphic design software (Adobe Creative Cloud Suite: Photoshop, InDesign, etc.) Shooting and editing photos and videos (Adobe Lightroom)
Excellent communication and organizational skills, attention to detail and a high degree of openness to new approaches and ideas.

Preferred Qualifications:

One to two years in social media coordination, marketing or communications.
Livestock background/experience preferred.
