Email Marketing Specialist
Location:Fairfield County, CT
Shift:Hybrid
Pay:$40-$45/hr
Type:6-month contract
Responsibilities
Collaborate with stakeholders to develop compelling and relevant content that aligns with marketing strategies.
Manage email routing, coordinate revisions, and make necessary edits before final approval.
Verify that all content, images, and links in emails are accurate and functional.
Import, organize, and segment email lists for precise targeting.
Schedule email campaign launches.
Implement automation plans with clear, measurable goals, coordinatingcross-functional teamsand ensuring data-driven accountability.
Maintain a detailed monthly editorial calendar, including product launches, campaigns, seasonal themes, and events.
Track campaign performance, documenting benchmarks, ROI, delivery rates, open rates, click-through rates, etc.
Ensure optimal deliverability and maintain a strong domain/IP reputation.
Qualifications
3-5 years of professional experience in email marketing.
Experience with Hub Spot or Marketo is required.
Expertise in creating and sending emails using an ESP and online editing tools.
Proficient in coding and updating HTML emails. Familiar with digital marketing tools and platforms, including CRM, marketing automation, and analytics tools.
