JOB SUMMARY:
As an Email and SMS Marketing Specialist, you will assist in managing, executing, planning, and implementing the Email and SMS program to deliver growth in key KPIs and support brand positioning. This role involves creating monthly calendars for weekly marketing sends and developing trigger emails and journeys. Work closely with key vendors: SailThru, Wunderkind, Attentive, Movable Ink. Work closely with key Signet teams: Banner Marketing, Loyalty, Personalization at Scale, Data Analytics, XD, CDP, Store Operations, Ecom, and IT.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Content Strategy and Development: Independently ideate and strategize all Email and SMS content via monthly calendars. This includes supporting promotions, creating a branded customer experience through storytelling, managing design, proofing, and testing
Performance Tracking and Reporting: Track and report all KPIs weekly, monthly, quarterly, and daily as needed. Deliver channel reporting for key weekly meetings, such as Weekly Trade and SLT Trade Prep.
Campaign Management: Conceptualize, deploy, and manage email and SMS triggered sends, automations, and ad-hoc campaigns. This includes working cross-functionally with internal teams and external vendors.
Cross-Channel Support: Support other marketing channels and initiatives via cross-channel campaigns. Coordinate with buyers and merchants to ensure cross-departmental alignment on all campaigns.
Creative Briefs: Demonstrate the ability to write creative briefs that are clear, concise, and inspiring to those accountable for execution.
Perform additional duties and projects as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education Required: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
Required or Acceptable Job-Related Experience:
Experience in email and SMS marketing strategy and execution
Basic understanding of CRM strategies
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
Excellent communication and collaboration skills with both internal teams and external vendors
Proficient in analyzing and reporting on key performance indicators
Detail-oriented with strong proofreading and legal language management skills
Creative thinking and the ability to develop compelling storytelling in marketing campaigns
Technical/Other Skills Required:
Demonstrated success in an integrated cross-functional team environment
Basic understanding of data analytics
