As a Lead in Global Athlete Experience, you will play a critical role in developing, scaling, and optimizing Global Athlete services. You will manage critical elements including innovative experiences at Global Sport moments, technology integration, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Global Sport Moments: Oversee the delivery of Athlete experiences at Global Sport moments, including Nike Premier Cup and World Athletics Championship. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (GPS, Product, Nike Sports Research Lab, Brand, Communications) and external agencies to provide services that meet the Athlete needs during these moments. Ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
Technology Process & Integration: Lead efforts to incorporate innovative technology solutions that drive Athlete experience, such as data-driven platforms, event technology, and Athlete facing applications. Work in partnership with key external and internal partners to create, implement and ensure adoption of these technologies.
Operations Management: Manage operational processes and create efficiencies in delivering Athlete services. Partner with internal partners such as Procurement and Finance to ensure timely invoicing processes.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with cross functional groups to ensure Athlete experiences are aligned with Nike’s overall vision and goals. Act as a liaison with internal teams to maintain alignment for Global Sport Moments, technology services and general service operations.
Continuous Improvement: Regularly assess the Global Athlete Experience service portfolio and utilize quantitative and qualitative data to measure operational efficiency, identifying areas for improvement. Use data insights to optimize services, drive cost efficiencies, and enhance the Athlete experience.
Stakeholder Management: Communicate effectively with key internal stakeholders (e.g., senior leadership, internal teams, and regional teammates) to provide updates on service operations, best practices and opportunities for growth.
Qualifications:
5-8 years of experience in project management, partnership management, operations, or related fields (sports, fitness, partnership services, etc.)
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, Communications, or combination of relevant education, experience and training
Proven experience managing operational processes, scaling services, and driving technology integration in a global or complex environment.
Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously and meet deadlines.
Strong organizational skills and experience with utilizing data to measure success and communicate stories.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across diverse teams.
Experience in identifying operational inefficiencies and implementing solutions that improve service quality and performance outcomes.
A passion for serving Athlete’s and driving innovation.
Preferred:
Experience working in sports or fitness environment.
Data-driven decision-making experience, with an understanding of metrics and KPIs for service and operational performance.
