Role Overview

The Marketing Operations Manager will oversee Walser Wealth’s marketing initiatives, focusing on email marketing, lead generation, and performance optimization.

This results-driven role requires a well-rounded marketer capable of integrating multiple marketing channels and leveraging data analytics to maximize effectiveness.

While not a formal leadership role, the Marketing Operations Manager will act as the firm’s senior marketing expert, driving strategy, managing campaigns, and ensuring a consistent pipeline of qualified leads for the advisory team.

Key Responsibilities

Lead Generation & Performance Optimization

Develop and implement multi-channel marketing campaigns to generate 150+ weekly leads through digital ads, email, TV, radio, dinner seminars, and other sources.
Optimize lead acquisition strategies to enhance lead quality, reduce cost per lead (CPL), and improve conversion rates.
Collaborate with the sales team to ensure leads are nurtured and converted effectively.
Analyze data and adjust marketing strategies based on performance insights.

Email Marketing & Automation

Own and execute the firm’s email marketing strategy, including automation, list segmentation, and lead nurturing.
Manage platforms like ActiveCampaign, Mailchimp, and Constant Contact.
Design email workflows, drip campaigns, and follow-up sequences to drive engagement and conversions.

Marketing Strategy & Coordination

Develop high-level marketing strategies while coordinating with support staff on content execution.
Manage paid digital advertising (search, social, display) and ensure alignment with lead generation goals.
Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to execute marketing campaigns, ensuring brand consistency.

Event & Traditional Marketing

Support dinner seminars, webinars, and in-person events by driving registration and optimizing outreach efforts.
Align TV and radio marketing messaging with broader lead generation strategies.
Ensure seamless coordination between digital and offline marketing channels.

Analytics & Reporting

Track, measure, and report on KPIs, including lead volume, CPL, conversion rates, and ROI.
Use data insights to refine marketing tactics and maximize performance.
Present performance updates and actionable insights to leadership and advisors.

Qualifications & Experience

Required:

5+ years of marketing experience, with a focus on lead generation and campaign optimization.
Proficiency in email marketing, automation platforms (ActiveCampaign, Mailchimp, or Constant Contact), and list segmentation.
Strong analytical skills with experience using Google Analytics, marketing automation reports, and CRM tools.
Proven ability to manage multi-channel marketing efforts, including digital ads, content strategy, and event promotion.
Expertise in lead generation tactics and optimizing CPL and conversion rates.

Preferred:

Experience in the financial services industry (financial advisory, RIA, or wealth management).
Knowledge of direct response marketing and multi-channel campaign execution (digital, TV, radio, events).
Familiarity with CRO, A/B testing, and lead nurturing strategies.
Experience collaborating with graphic designers, video editors, and creative professionals.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary Range: $75,000 – $80,000 for candidates with limited experience; up to $115,000 – $120,000 for experienced candidates exceeding lead generation goals.
Performance Metrics: Role targets 60 qualified leads per week per advisor (12 advisors), totaling approximately 150 weekly leads across all channels.
Work Environment: Hybrid work schedule; in-office Tuesday through Thursday, remote on Monday and Friday.
