Job Summary:
We are looking for a creative and self-motivated Social Media Coordinator to manage and grow our online presence. This role is ideal for someone who can take initiative, create engaging content, and interact with our audience across various platforms. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of social media trends and the ability to work independently.
Key Responsibilities:
Create, schedule, and publish engaging content (text, images, videos, and stories) across platforms like LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and industry-specific networks.
Monitor social media channels, respond to comments/messages, and engage with followers to enhance industry presence and customer engagement.
Track and analyze performance metrics (engagement, reach, audience growth) and suggest improvements.
Stay updated on social media trends, platform updates, and best practices relevant to the manufacturing and B2B sectors.
Collaborate with internal teams to gather content ideas, showcase products, and highlight company achievements.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or relevant experience).
Hands-on experience managing social media for a business, organization, or industry-focused audience.
Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and basic analytics tools.
Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills.
Basic graphic design or video editing skills (Canva, Adobe Suite, or similar tools) preferred but not required.
Ability to work independently, take initiative, and manage tasks without formal training.
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with paid social media campaigns (Facebook Ads, LinkedIn Ads, etc.).
Basic knowledge of SEO and content marketing.
Experience creating content for a manufacturing, industrial, or B2B audience.
