Ocean Healthcare, the area’s premier post-acute and healthcare provider, has a unique opportunity within its Skilled Nursing Division. As the Vice President of Admissions & Marketing, the ideal candidate will be responsible for, and collaborate on, local Marketing and Promotion efforts and activities targeting the markets for each Ocean Healthcare Skilled Nursing Center throughout the State to maximize referral volume, quality mix, and marketplace awareness.
Additionally, the position will manage and support the Admissions Teams and process within each of the Division’s twelve Centers. Furthermore, and key to this important position, is the management and evaluation of referral volume coming to each of the Centers, maximizing the opportunity for admission, minimizing lost business, improving close ratios, and ensuring each Center is very well positioned for tours and inquiries.
The ideal candidate will have a strong history and background in Admissions, Skilled Nursing Marketing/Business Development, Referral Management / Liaison experience. Full knowledge of how to receive, process, and manage referral volume is vital. Multi-Location experience is important, as well as team building skills, management collaboration, understanding data reports, and a strong ability to interpret data for trending and referral source behavior.
A nursing background is helpful but not required, however, strong clinical knowledge is very important to support the improvement of admission close ratios and identify clinical based opportunities.
