JOB OVERVIEW

Meydenbauer Center is looking for a creative communicator to help us connect with our community, clients, and audiences in exciting ways. In this role, youll be the voice behind all things Meydenbauercrafting captivating content, engaging with the public, and making sure our brand shines. From dynamic social media campaigns to eye-catching newsletters and beyond, youll help us share our story and build lasting connections in the Bellevue community.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Reports to and works closely with the Director of Sales & Marketing to develop and implement marketing strategies, advertising, creative execution and media buys for Meydenbauer Center and Meydenbauer Center Theatre.
Develops, produces and maintains marketing materials and graphic design standards including, conference room displays, trade show booths, marketing packets, and other printed material.
Oversees the development and maintenance of Meydenbauer Center website.
Implements social media efforts including, but not limited to, organic posting, monitoring activity, and various advertising campaigns. Manages social media engagement including responding to comments, messages and reviews.
Executes blog campaign including formulating content ideas and writing content.
Formats and schedules email marketing campaigns for sales, events and theatre. Develops content for email marketing. Monitors and reports on opens, click throughs, bounce rate and unsubscribes.
Maintains online profiles for Meydenbauer Center on online review sites and industry RFP platforms.
Works with our marketing company on search engine optimization and marketing.
Supports Sales and Event Managers asset needs for clients and sales initiatives including maps, signage, client appreciation, printing, order coordination, and more.
Supports sales involvement in tradeshows and industry events with collateral and booth design.
Participates in brainstorming sessions for Marketing campaigns.
Maintains up-to-date asset and photo library.
Assists in Theatre marketing activities.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

Bachelors degree in Marketing, Sales, Advertising or other related field
Two four years direct experience working in a marketing or communications.
Computer proficiency with emphasis on Microsoft Office.
Experience with Adobe Creative Suite.
Other equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Knowledge of marketing principles and advertising, social media marketing and website management.
Knowledge of community relations and promotions methodologies.
Ability to maintain a professional image and exercise initiative and judgement when representing Meydenbauer Center; tactfully deal with staff, clients, the general public and representatives of the hospitality community.
Ability to accurately handle a multitude of details and work within a fast-paced, deadline- driven environment.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

While performing the duties of this job, the employee works in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers and smartphones.

POSITION TYPE / WORK SCHEDULE

This is a full-time position. Standard days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm. This position may require longer hours depending on workload.
