About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Artist Manager to help build and elevate the career of shugg, a rising hip-hop artist signed under Mass Money Music Studio. This role requires someone with industry connections, strategic business acumen, and a deep understanding of artist branding, music marketing, and touring logistics.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute long-term career strategies for the artist
Negotiate and secure bookings, collaborations, brand partnerships, and licensing deals
Oversee day-to-day operations, including schedules, public relations, and social media presence
Coordinate with record labels, promoters, agents, and other industry professionals
Organize and manage tours, promotional events, and press appearances
Handle contract negotiations and financial planning alongside legal and financial teams
Assist in marketing and branding efforts, including content creation and fan engagement strategies
Requirements:
Proven experience managing or working closely with hip-hop artists
Strong industry connections and ability to secure opportunities
Knowledge of digital marketing, streaming platforms, and brand partnerships
Exceptional negotiation and communication skills
Ability to handle high-pressure situations and adapt to a fast-paced industry
Understanding of legal contracts, publishing rights, and royalties
bonus Skills:
Experience with social media management and content strategy
Strong relationships with playlist curators, A&Rs, and promoters
Background in music production, touring, or merchandise branding
