Customer Development Assistant

Interested? We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a Customer Development Assistant. This role is crucial in ensuring the efficient management of our customer development operations to support customer satisfaction and operational success. What you’ll do: You will be responsible for handling administrative, marketing, and organizational tasks while adhering to company policies. Responsibilities include managing data, preparing reports, maintaining department policies, tracking expenses, and assisting with equipment orders. The role also involves engaging with social media, creating multimedia content, and managing branded items and the company’s online presence. The position requires strong communication, organizational, and digital media skills, as well as proficiency in office software and administrative tools, with the ability to work independently and remotely.

WHAT YOU’LL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR

Support VP of Customer Development: Work with and communicate on behalf of VP of Customer Development while adhering to company policies and procedures.

Maintain department data, files, and folders: Ensure department data is maintained, organized and kept current.

Process assigned equipment order tasks: Process new equipment orders by creating sales and purchase orders.

Review department expenses: Track department expenses while ensuring expenses remain within budget.

Engage the social media community: Publish posts containing relevant and current company news and updates.

Generate and distribute news content for internal and external audiences: Communicate regularly with employees and the general public on customer and company announcements.

Create, update, and maintain the company’s physical and digital marketing materials: Produce and edit multimedia materials using approved content.

Manage stock levels of all branded items: Monitor quantities and replenish stock of branded items.

Manage websites and online presence: Keep website current and accurate.

Utilize search engine optimization (SEO) to maximize traffic: Maintain website utilization and ensure current trends and algorithms are in place.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Education and Experience: Diploma/GED with 2 years of experience in a marketing role
Math Ability: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry
Computer Skills: Proficient in using processing software; spreadsheet software; internet software; contact management systems; search engine optimization; data analytics; image and video creation; social media software
Communication and Collaboration: Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills. Must have strong written and verbal communication skills in American English and speak in an understandable accent
Virtual Work: Experience in working remotely with minimal supervision
Business Acumen: Proficient in understanding of business technologies
Digital Media: Experience working on digital media and design applications
Graphic Design: Experience with content creation and graphic design
Organization: Excellent time management, organization, and problem-solving. Able to follow and complete checklists, thoroughly
Attention to Detail: Produce quality output of work with extreme attention to detail
Technology Savvy: Tech fluent with a willingness to explore new technologies and trends
EOS: Experience with EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating System) is a plus.

WORK HOURS & ENVIRONMENT

Remote – Office hours 8:00 am to 5:00 pm (local time zone) Monday through Friday
Part-Time 20 hours per week minimum within office hours
10% travel required

Physical Demands

The employee is frequently required to sit, climb, or balance. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds. COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience.

Pay: $18.00 – $20.00 per hour
