Summary
Oversees corporate relations, volunteering, fundraisers, special events and engagement with other community organizations in the Lehigh Valley. Reports to the Chief Development Officer.
Duties and Responsibilities
Special Events and Fundraising
Oversee all aspects of special events and fundraisers including creating printed and digital collateral, securing sponsorships, and coordinating with all event-related vendors.
Coordinate all third-party fundraisers held within the community such as collection drives and happy hour fundraisers.
Corporate Sponsorships
Oversee all aspects of corporate relations including all cultivation and stewardship of relationships with local corporations and community organizations with the goal strengthening ties, forming collaborations, and securing sponsorships, grants, and other donations for the LVHS.
Identify, cultivate, and solicit new corporate prospects.
Implement marketing efforts to enhance corporate engagement and attract more prospects.
Identify LVHS projects and programs that fit the funding interests of specific corporations.
Develop and implement an annual plan for moving prospects along to secure and/or increase gifts and sponsorships utilizing personal visits, meetings, proposals, and other forms of outreach as appropriate.
Manage the coordination of corporate group volunteering at LVHS.
Volunteer Program
Recruits, trains, manages, and maintains positive relationships with all volunteers at the LVHS.
Makes effective use of the volunteer management database and other institutional resources to ensure appropriate management of volunteers in coordination with shelter objectives.
Coordinates the use of volunteers as it relates to events and fundraising activities as needed.
Community Awareness
Coordinate visits, tours, and programming with community organizations such as schools, social groups, and senior homes to increase awareness of LVHS with the ultimate goal of creating more supporters in our community.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00 – $59,000.00 per year
