A financial platform based in Abu Dhabi (ADGM) and regulated by FSRA (3A license) is seeking to hire a Finance Officer. The platform specializes in custody, global markets execution and trading, as well as advisory/asset management services for professional and institutional clients.

Responsibilities:
·      Manage all aspects of accounting operations, such as monthly close, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
·      Lead financial reporting efforts, including preparing statutory financial statements, regulatory reports, and management reports containing balance sheets and income statements.
·      Collaborate with management and other functions on annual planning and budgeting, presenting budgets and proactively challenging contributors for realistic revenue and expense assessments.
·      Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements
·      Ensure adherence to approved budgets on the expense side and monitor revenue targets and other financial key performance indicators (KPIs).
·      Support new product development by assessing and quantifying the financial impact of new business opportunities.
·      Manage the firm’s own nostro accounts and oversee cash flow control. Maintain relationships with corresponding banks for the corporate activities of the firm.
·      Handle invoicing procedures.
·      Manage the tax returns of the firm.
·      Report to and work closely with the Senior Executive Officer (SEO).

Qualifications:
·      Minimum of five years of industry experience, with at least two years in asset management or brokerage firms.
·      Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
·      ACCA/CPA certifications or any other relevant accounting and/or finance certifications.
·      Experience with DIFC or ADGM regulatory reporting requirements
·      Proficiency in financial reporting and analysis.
·      Good understanding of Global Markets products (Fixed Income, Equities, FX).
·      Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal, coupled with robust analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
·      Capable of being hands-on, detail-oriented, and working autonomously.
·      Willingness to work in a startup environment and contribute significantly to business development and success.
