The Financial Aid (FA) Office is searching for friendly, outgoing, responsible and flexible OCC students who are interested in joining our team as a Social Media Specialist. Social Media Specialists will have the opportunity to serve and gain professional experiences in a number of areas, such as:
Helping to create and post content to reinforce Financial Aid services and general information.
Advertising for Financial Aid office initiatives.
Promote and support programming events which include but are not limited to printing posters, putting up posters, going to events, posting to various social media sites, spreading the word about upcoming events.
Answering basic questions about financial aid processes and procedures.
Assisting Financial Aid with other office or administrative duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Must be a Work-Study Eligible Student in good academic standing(2.0 GPA or higher).
Fun, flexible, and outgoing personality!
Willingness to help others and good customer service.
Have experience across various social media platforms:
You Tube, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter (X), Tik Tok, etc.
Punctual and reliable.
Knowledge of OCC student access, including MyOCC.
Additional Information:
Pay Rate: $15.00 /hr
To see if you qualify for Federal Work Study (FWS) positions:
Work Study Aides may workup to 20 hours per weekwhile classes are in session.
Additional hours may be worked during college breaks.
