About the team
Turo is seeking a data-driven, and SEO Manager to join our high-performing Global Shared Service Marketing team. The central SEO team is responsible for growing SEO traffic, bookings and revenue for Turo globally. The SEO team has access to several tools, tech teams, and budget to be able to deploy ambitious plans to scale SEO across all markets.
What you will do
As SEO manager for North America, you will be responsible for working cross functionally across design, copywriters, engineering, product, analytics and external vendors to grow SEO for US and Canada for Turo, with a specific focus on our content and linkbuilding efforts.
Your profile
4+ years of SEO experience preferably with international businesses.
Strong understanding of search engine algorithms and ranking factors.
Strong understanding of the US and Canada markets.
Multi-language market experience.
Prior Linkbuilding experience including but not limited to digital PR and outreach.
Expertise in scaling SEO content initiatives within a market.
Experience with working with copywriting teams, external vendors and briefing processes.
Ability to work with product and engineering teams.
Quantitative and data driven – be able to measure impact of initiatives. Understanding the right KPIs at the right funnel.
Basic project management and time management skills.
Experience with fundamental SEO tools such as Google Search Console, Semrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog SEO Crawler
Know how to use Google Analytics 4.
HTML/CSS/JS knowledge.
Bonus if you have
Experience in the travel sector.
Experience in e-commerce.
Working knowledge of Storyblok and Wordpress.
Understanding of content optimization tools (Yourtext.guru, SurferSEO, etc.)
Fluent in French.
For this role, the target base salary range in San Francisco is $100,000 – $125,000 USD annually. This role is also eligible for equity and benefits. In general, our ranges reflect the market-based target for new hire salaries based on the level and location of the role. Within the range, individual pay is determined by objective factors assessed during the application and interview process, such as job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
