Can you reach people with just a few words?
As a lead copy team member, you will take responsibility for the concept, writing, and presentation of all projects for assigned accounts. You will partner with art directors on brand concept development and provide supervision, mentorship, guidance, and support to copywriters within the Core Brand Team. Finally, you will act as ahands-oncopywriter and present ideas internally and to clients.
Additional responsibilities may include:
Collaborating with creative, account services, production, and extended team members.
Owning accuracy and consistency in writing style by collaborating with editors.
Participating in the recruiting, hiring, training, and development of copywriters in the group.
Keeping up to date with trends in branding, marketing, advertising, and related communications industries.
5-10 years of experience in the field of writing, with at least 5 years concentrated in advertising or healthcare. Proficiency in critical software—primarily Microsoft Word.
Strong technical knowledge of developments in the client’s business as well as the agency business; possessing the functional and technical knowledge and skills to do the job at a high level of accomplishment.
Desired Requirements:
Ability to manage and lead thecreative process, workflow, workload, and resources among the copy group.
Ability to work on a wide range of accounts and categories.
Distributing the workload appropriately based on skill sets and talents.
The anticipated hourly rate for this position is $65 but may vary based on various factors such as the candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role.
