The retail store and corporate headquarters is in Port Washington, NY, on the beautiful North Shore of Nassau County.
We are seeking a creative and engaging Marketing & Media Manager with strong marketing skills to join our small and dynamic team. As the Marketing & Media Manager, you will report to thebusiness owner and play a crucial role driving social media engagements, promoting the brand and helping to drive acquisition of new clients. You’ll be the voice in the marketplace and interact with clients and prospective clients. Key responsibilities include and are not limited to:
Social Media Management:
– Create and schedule social media posts to grow the company’s online presence
– Monitor social media channels and engage with followers as needed
-Take steps to organize marketing content such as blogs, Social media posts and other media content
-Content creation and editing for videos and special projects
-Identify lead gen opportunities for sales through Facebook, Google Ads or other sources
Marketing:
– Develop website strategy. Responsible for design, optimization and implementation using Wordpress for two brands under Advanced Pool Technologies (CPC and The VacDaddy).
-Build email marketing campaigns (A/B testing) defining target audience, copy and graphic content
-Conduct market research to understand consumer behaviours and to build strategy for growing the client base
-Find other mediums to advertise and grow the client base. Create, test and iterate on marketing materials such as Handouts, Flyers, Pop adds.
Client Success:
– Fulfill general customer support inquiries via phone and website ensuring client satisfaction and retention.
Project Management:
-Manage Amazon account and relationship
-Lead small-scale ad hoc projects that support business growth
– Prepare reports, presentations, and other documentation as required to support marketing initiatives and show campaign results
– Collaborate with the business owner, sales and product teams to gather feedback and develop marketing strategy
Required skills for success in the role:
– 3 years of experience in marketing, with a focus on social media for a business required.
– Experience running email campaigns is preferred
-Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects
– Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
– Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), Wordpress
– Self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40,000.00 – $50,000.00 per year
