Job Description
Our vacation rental management company is seeking a talented and creative freelance Social Media Content Creator & Photographer to elevate our online presence and showcase our stunning vacation rental properties. We’re looking for a passionate individual with a keen eye for detail and a knack for creating engaging content that drives bookings.
Responsibilities
Content Creation: Develop and execute a consistent social media content strategy across various platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, X, etc.).
Photography & Videography: Capture high-quality photos and videos of our vacation rental properties, highlighting their unique features and amenities. This includes interior shots, exterior shots, drone footage (if applicable), and lifestyle shots showcasing the guest experience.
Video Editing: Edit raw video footage into engaging and shareable content for various platforms, including short-form videos (TikTok, Reels, etc.).
Social Media Management: Schedule and publish content, engage with followers, and monitor social media analytics.
Trend Awareness: Stay up-to-date on the latest social media trends and best practices, adapting content strategies accordingly.
Collaboration: Work closely with management to ensure content aligns with our brand guidelines, image, and marketing objectives.
Content Calendar Management: Develop and maintain a content calendar to ensure consistent posting and a variety of content.
Property Staging (as needed): May involve light staging or suggesting staging improvements to enhance the visual appeal of properties for photos and videos.
Qualifications
Experience in social media content creation and photography, ideally within the travel or hospitality industry.
Photography, videography, and social media management skills.
Excellent understanding of social media platforms and their respective best practices.
Creative mindset with a passion for storytelling and visual communication.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Drone photography experience is a plus.
Be able to capture the fun!
Compensation
For this freelance position, we are open to discuss an hourly rate starting from $16-$25 per hour, or work project to project. We have plenty of work and are trying to find the right person that can fit in with our company style and goals!
Compensation is heavily dependent upon experience and we are happy to entertain those newer in the industry, and seasoned pros.
This could be a great long term fit for the right person!
