Are you passionate about international work in developing countries? This is an opportunity to contribute to a meaningful project by securing funding to support grass and tree planting operations in Haiti. Please note that this is a volunteer position.
We are seeking a dedicated Grant Writer to join our Haiti Grass Project team. Our initiative focuses on combating soil erosion in Haiti by planting grass and trees in eroded areas. Haiti loses significant amounts of topsoil each year, and our goal is to mitigate this loss through the strategic planting of vegetation to build resilient communities.
As a Grant Writer, you will be responsible for crafting compelling grant proposals to secure funding for our project(s). You will research potential funding sources, write and submit proposals, and track grant deadlines and requirements. Additionally, you will work closely with our team to gather necessary information and updates to include in grant applications. This position is remote.
Experience in grant writing is highly desirable, but we are also open to candidates with a strong background in writing and a passion for international development. If you have a knack for storytelling and a drive to make a difference, we encourage you to apply.
