PickUp USA Fitness – Sicklerville is hiring for a General Manager position.
Who We Are
PickUp USA Fitness is a fast-growing basketball-focused fitness club. Our unique 12,000 sq ft club in Sicklerville will provide members with 2 full and 1 half basketball courts, a fitness area with premium workout and cardio equipment, a luxury lounge, a shooting machine, and more.
We are passionate about delivering our members an unmatched basketball-focused fitness club experience. To do this, we strive to maintain an immaculately clean club that operates one-of-a-kind organized basketball services. One of these services is our Officiated PickUp Games. We run daily 10-minute pickup basketball games with 2 referees, a scoreboard, and jerseys. Members will sign in to our patented Casey QueTM system which will put them on a team based on the time they sign in. They will be able to see on TVs around the gym where they are in the que to gauge how much time before their next game. In addition, we will run a Youth Development League for our youth athletes and offer private training packages to clients looking to take their game to the next level!

Minimum Educational Level
High School Diploma
Minimum Work Experience and Qualifications
1-3 years of leadership/management experience
1-3 years of marketing, sales experience, or customer service
Preferred Qualifications
Operations management experience
Sales experience
Basketball experience is preferred
Fitness industry experience is preferred
Work Schedule
Part-time hours during the pre-sales process during construction and while the courts are being built out. Able to move up to Full-time hours upon grand opening currently scheduled for early May.
The Manager position will be expected to work Mon-Fri 3p – 8p as this is when the highest number of members is expected. Remaining hours are flexible and can be adjusted to suit your needs.
**Must be able to attend a 5 day (Monday – Friday) in-person paid training at the franchise headquarter site in Irwindale, CA in late February / early March 2025.**
Compensation
This position offers a starting hourly wage of $21 – $23 depending on experience.
Will earn Quarterly Bonuses if new membership sign up goals are met
Complimentary gym membership ($600-$800 / year value)
A benefits package is not included, but 12 paid days off will be offered per year along with 40 hours of paid sick time per year.
