Job description

MCS Family of Companies is searching for a full-time HR/Marketing Director for our Scottsbluff, Nebraska office. The companies include a full-service civil Engineering consulting firm, Environmental and construction materials consultant and Industrial/analytics Company with extensive experience in all realms of private and municipal infrastructure projects.

We are seeking an innovative and strategic HR/Marketing Director to lead our human resources and marketing functions. This dual role will focus on aligning our HR initiatives with our marketing strategies to enhance employee engagement, promote a strong employer brand, and drive overall organizational success. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in both HR management and marketing strategy, ensuring a seamless integration of talent management and brand promotion.

General Responsibilities:

Human Resources:

– Develop and implement HR strategies that support the company’s goals and enhance workforce performance.

– Oversee recruiting and talent acquisition processes, ensuring a diverse and skilled workforce.

– Track and organize background/reference/driver record checks of new hires.

– Manage employee relations by providing daily support, performance management, and professional development initiatives.

– Design and promote employee engagement programs to foster a positive and productive workplace culture.

– Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment and benefits as well as compliance with labor laws and regulations.

Marketing:

– Manage, create and execute proposals and strategies for new projects.

– Manage, update, and maintain company proposal information including resumes, photography, project descriptions and information, and other marketing items.

– Create and execute marketing strategies that align with the business objectives and enhance brand visibility.

– Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.

– Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement integrated marketing campaigns.

– Manage digital marketing initiatives, including social media, email marketing, and content development.

– Analyze marketing performance metrics and adjust strategies as needed to achieve optimal results.

Administrative Support:

– As needed, such duties

Qualifications:

– Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field;

– Proven experience (5+ years) in both HR management and marketing roles, with progressive leadership responsibilities.

– Strong understanding of HR best practices, labor laws, and marketing principles.

– Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.

– Ability to analyze data, generate insights, and make informed decisions.

– Creative thinking with a strategic mindset.
