Position Summary
Choice Media & Communications is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Digital Marketing Manager to support both internal marketing initiatives and client projects. This role is ideal for a skilled digital marketing professional who excels in project management, copywriting, email marketing, social media strategy and execution, video content creation, and digital marketing strategy. The ideal candidate is highly proficient in managing daily social media content across multiple platforms, including the capture, editing, and execution of high-quality short-form video content (e.g., reels, TikTok videos, YouTube Shorts). Strong project management skills are also needed to coordinate and streamline marketing workflows. You’ll need to be able to seamlessly move between creating higher level strategies and executing most aspects of the marketing campaigns, usually working on multiple projects at once. The Digital Marketing Manager will work closely with the Marketing Director to ensure smooth planning, execution, and tracking of marketing campaigns and client digital media projects, including ongoing management while maintaining a strong focus on deadlines and deliverables. This will include leading a small team of vendors and contractors, providing project management, quality assurance, and on time delivery of campaigns. This is a remote position to operate during Choice standard operational hours (M-F, 8 AM – 5 PM CST). This position must be familiar and comfortable with marketing, design, and project management softwares such as Mailchimp, ActiveCampaign, Canva, Hootsuite (or other social scheduling software), for email marketing, social media management and Asana for project management.
Essential Functions
Choice and Client Support & Execution:
Campaign Execution: timeline development, client communication, serve as Lead on campaigns, executing campaigns with tactical support, navigate through campaign pivots; support and collaborate with team members who are executing campaign strategies
Delegation + Execution: the ability to direct colleagues on specific projects
Participate in client Brainstorm Sessions (as needed) to discuss goals/desired outcomes and provide clarity
Create compelling, and relevant content that appeals to specific audience groups for various platforms such as email, social, and web
Research trends and best practices for all digital media platforms utilized by Choice and clients
Regularly review analytics to assess strategy effectiveness
Manage and regularly update the Choice blog and website
Business Development:
Assist the Business Development Team in finding potential clients through marketing funnels and initiatives
Assist the Business Development Team in determining ideal clients and services to offer
Provide insight, expertise, and relevant content for pertinent Proposal Presentations
Attend Proposal Presentations as needed
Choice Internal:
Serve as spokesperson for the Marketing Team as needed.
Participate in monthly Choice Team brainstorm sessions to contribute to the growth and development of the company
Develop and present content during marketing and digital media-driven sessions for the Choice Connection when needed
Assist with planning and execution for the annual Choice Summit
Assist as needed with all other Choice projects and initiatives
Project Management & Marketing Execution
Manage and track marketing projects across various clients and internal initiatives using Asana.
Ensure deadlines, deliverables, and budgets are met while maintaining high-quality execution.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align marketing efforts with overall business objectives.
Assist in coordinating and streamlining marketing workflows to improve efficiency.
Organize and document marketing initiatives, ensuring seamless execution and follow-ups.
Copywriting & Content Creation
Write compelling marketing copy for email campaigns, social media posts, blog content, and landing pages.
Edit and proofread marketing materials to ensure brand consistency, tone, and voice.
Develop engaging content tailored to target audiences, driving engagement and conversions.
Email Marketing & Campaign Management
Create, schedule, and send email campaigns using ActiveCampaign or similar client email marketing platforms as needed
Monitor email performance, analyze data, and optimize campaigns for improved engagement.
Create compelling automated campaigns to nurture and convert leads into customers for clients and Choice
Maintain and segment email lists for strategic marketing efforts.
Social Media Strategy & Execution
Develop, execute, and manage daily social media content across platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Pinterest, TikTok, YouTube) for both Choice and clients.
Lead content shoots, coordinating and directing video content creation both on-site and remotely while developing graphic, photo, and high-quality video assets (vertical short-form format) for social media.
Manage and schedule content across platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Pinterest, TikTok, YouTube).
Edit and produce high-quality, short-form video content, including reels, TikToks, and YouTube Shorts.
Build strategy and manage influencer relationships as needed for both Choice and clients.
Engage with followers, monitor brand mentions, and respond to comments/messages in a timely manner.
Stay ahead of social media trends and implement best practices to drive engagement and audience growth.
Track key social media metrics and generate performance reports.
Video Content Creation & Editing
Plan, direct, and execute content shoots for Choice and client brands, ensuring high-quality video capture.
Edit and produce engaging video content for social media, including reels, TikToks, and promotional clips.
Ensure all video content is optimized for different platforms and follows best practices for engagement.
Manage video assets, post-production workflow, and quality control to align with brand guidelines.
Qualifications 

Education: BA in Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, Digital Media or a related field is preferred but not required if significant experience is proven.
Experience: Minimum of three years of experience in a marketing management role that has included demonstrating proficiency in copywriting, project management, social media strategy, G2M (go-to-market) product launch management, and email marketing.
Qualifications:
Experience working with influencers, thought leaders, and/or companies who sell through digital marketing campaigns.
Strong proficiency in copywriting, with a portfolio demonstrating effective marketing content.
Strong experience in social media execution, content creation, and video editing.
Proficiency in video editing tools such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, or Final Cut Pro.
Experience with ActiveCampaign (or similar email marketing platforms).
Experience with website platforms like WordPress, Square Space, or similar.
Proven ability to manage projects efficiently using Asana (or other project management tools).
Hands-on experience in managing and executing social media strategies, rather than just overseeing them.
Familiarity with social media scheduling tools (e.g. Meta, Hootsuite, Later, Planoly, Plann) and trend analysis on platforms like Instagram Reels and TikTok
Strong understanding of social media strategy, execution, and analytics.
Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Comfortable working independently in a remote environment while collaborating with a team.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Communication:
A Digital Marketing Manager must be an excellent communicator, in both written and oral form. This includes proficiency in spelling, grammar, and punctuation. This also includes being able to take a large amount of information and summarize it quickly both in written and spoken language on a regular basis.
Advanced ability to read & write captions, content, analytics and business correspondence. Ability to effectively present information, respond to questions & interact with managers, employees, clients, vendors, & the general public.
You must also be able to track communication (and be very responsive) across multiple channels without losing any details. Those channels could include in-person meetings, virtual video calls, Slack messages, text messages and/or emails.
In this position you’ll be responsible for providing clear and objective feedback to those they manage.
Discretion:
Since the Digital Marketing Manager will regularly work with confidential information and high-profile individuals, discretion and sensitivity regarding confidential information is a must. The Digital Marketing Manager will also engage in management-level conversations that require confidentiality.
Flexibility:
With the nature of our business, things can change very quickly on a regular basis. The Digital Marketing Manager needs to be someone who is very flexible, adaptable, responsive, and not easily flustered by a change of plans or a crisis.

Software & Technology: 

We require someone who is technologically savvy and a quick learner. We prefer you are a Mac and iPhone user. You must be excellent at internet research. Experience using Google Calendar, Gmail, Google Docs and Google Drive is highly preferred. Knowledge of Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Experience with paid search platforms (Google Adwords, Meta), social media scheduling platforms and video distribution platforms (such as IGTV and Vimeo), and Google Analytics is preferred.
This position must be familiar and comfortable with marketing, design, and project management softwares such as Mailchimp, ActiveCampaign, Canva, Hootsuite (or other social scheduling software) for email marketing, social media management and Asana for project management.
