Summary: The Marketing and Sales Specialist is responsible for supporting company sales efforts through effective design, implementation, execution, and measurement for profitable results. Assists with pricing related to product and services, such as price quotes, price increases, price comparisons, and special pricing. This role handles rebates, bill backs, vendor invoicing, utility & vehicle expense tracking, special job quotes, and extended warranties duties.

Essential Job Duties:
Marketing Support
Presents marketing programs to customers that include promotions, flyers, specials, training, and other programs as directed.
Demonstrates proficiency and knowledge in all marketing programs, promotions, and support available from all vendors.
Assists with the annual company Dealer Meeting.
Completes pricing studies as required.
Coordinates purchase of all premiums and incentives.
Monitors company branding and image.
Supports annual marketing plan by providing monthly tracking of promotions and incentives.
Responsible for customer billing and tracking credits related to advertising and marketing.
Contributes to the creation of sales and marketing programs.
Sends customer satisfaction surveys.
Customer Interaction
Provides excellent customer service through timely customer interaction, problem resolution or escalation with effective and efficient follow-up.
Addresses customers politely and professionally in a courteous manner, even in situations that may become difficult or tense
Promptly responds to customer inquiries via phone, email, or fax with courtesy in a professional demeanor
Establishes and maintains professional business dealings with customers and vendors at all times
Conducts personal interactions with customers representative of a company with strong, ethical standards
Supports valued business relationships in all dealings with related departments aiming to resolve customer and other issues in a timely manner. Approaches peers and customers with a spirit of positive problem resolution
Sales Support
Strategizes and manages the creation and coordination of the monthly sales meeting agenda.
Assists with the selection and coordination of third-party vendors with regard to direct mail, advertising, etc.
Assists with the creation of pricing studies as required.
Orders and stocks dealer materials including literature, decals and other promotional items.
Manages creation and analysis of sales reports for Sales Managers, Territory Mangers, or Presidents.
Supports Territory Managers in their business needs.
Coordinates travel arrangements related to employee travel.
Organizes meetings, contracts, hotel and dinner reservations, food, etc.
Reconciles monthly credit card statement.
Coordinates home shows and display shipment.
Coordinates special events (branch openings, customer appreciation events, etc.)
Performs purchase order entry for credits/billing for vendors.
Dealer Support
Supervises the execution of factory tour offerings.
Creates dealer pricing and price sheets.
Processes dealer extended warranties as directed
Processes promotion credits for dealers.
Facilitates company and customer notifications on product recalls, consumer notices, etc.
Assists with Customer Care & TCS sales plan execution.
Monitors utility rebate offers and manages product ratings to meet those rebates.
Manages the processing, tracking and issuing of rebate and travel credits.
Coordinates Dealer Training Program, including communication documents and certificates of completion.
Other
Maintains proficiency with company computer systems in aspects related to job, such as data entry, messaging, call logs, data notations, queue updates, batching, or other job & office functions and requirements.

Preferred Job Requirements
3 or more years’ experience with marketing and related functions.
Minimum Job Requirements
High School diploma or its GED equivalent
1 or more year experience with marketing and related functions.
Demonstrated knowledge of MS Office suite applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Aptitude for mathematical operations and numerical analysis.
Use computers, photocopiers, scanners, phone systems and meeting and virtual platform sharing relative to the needs of the job.
Minimum keyboarding skills of 40 words per minute.
