A locally owned retail shop with a unique environment is seeking a dedicated full-time Retail Operations Manager to handle the day to day operations and management at their Sharon, PA store.
Overview
The Retail Operations Manager is responsible for the overall operation of the store, ensuring an exceptional customer experience while meeting sales and profitability goals. This role involves managing daily store operations, supervising staff, and overseeing marketing initiatives to drive traffic and sales. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, with a passion for retail and customer service excellence.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
Oversee the daily operations of the store, ensuring it is clean, well-stocked, and running efficiently.
Hire, train, and manage store personnel, including scheduling, task delegation, and performance management.
Approve and manage employee timecards, ensure accurate payroll submissions, and track attendance.
Provide exceptional service by building relationships with customers and handling complaints or inquiries effectively.
Monitor sales performance, manage inventory levels, and place orders to ensure stock availability for high-demand items.
Assist at the retail counter when needed, support customers with purchases, process transactions, and ensure smooth daily operations.
Assist in developing and executing in-store promotions and marketing initiatives to increase store traffic and sales.
Ensure the visual presentation of the store is attractive and reflective of the brand, with products displayed in an appealing manner.
Track daily sales, handle cash management, and prepare reports to monitor store performance and meet financial targets.
Maintain security protocols to protect store assets and ensure a safe shopping environment.
Experience and Required Skills:
1 Year of Retail Management experience required
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Knowledge of products or the ability to learn products
Ability to manage personnel including training and coaching
Ability to operate point of sale (POS) systems
